KIXLocalServices
KIXLocalServices (also called KI/XFS Local Services) support the local operator of selfservice devices in the bank to
- perform service activities in the production environment (eg. replenish the cassettes with cash)
- perform test- and diagnostic functions to avoid or to fix problems
- configure the selfservice device
With multi-vendor support – the KIXLocalServices internaly use the successful KIXTerminalControl - the KIXLocalServices present the local operator in the bank a unique user interface and a unique set of functions for the self-service devices of different vendors (eg. Diebold, KEBA, NCR und Wincor-Nixdorf).
A vendor specific education of the operator in the bank is necessary only once and can be later used for the maintenance of every additional selfservice device. So the costs of education for the bank / the computing center in a heterogenous environment can be reduced.

The simple administration of the KIXLocalServices menu structure with XML-data supports
- the definition of a customer specific menu structure
- the definition of the menu structure according to the type of selfservice device
- the simple integration of customer specific functions in the KIXLocalServices
All the text data used within the KIXLocalServices can be translated or configured. So the customer has full access to the user interface.
KIXLocalServices can be used with the customer screen as well as wirh the operator screen if available. In both cases all possibilites of operator entry are supported (eg. soft keys, numeric pad, touch screen, PC-keyboard).
The KIXLocalServices can be configured how they should be activated.
The KIXLocalServices support configurable user authentication. So KIXLocalServices can start with a simple "no user authentification" to a customer defined user authentification based on different roles.
